Asian Dressing

Simple Asian Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar (or white vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or neutral oil like canola)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, and olive oil until well combined.
  2. Add the grated ginger and minced garlic. Mix thoroughly.
  3. If you want a bit of heat, stir in the chili flakes.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning (more honey for sweetness, or vinegar for acidity).
  5. Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Tips:

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Use it to dress green salads, noodle dishes, or as a marinade for chicken, fish, or tofu.

Enjoy your flavorful Asian-inspired dish!
