Simple Asian Dressing Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar (or white vinegar)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (or neutral oil like canola)
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, and olive oil until well combined.
- Add the grated ginger and minced garlic. Mix thoroughly.
- If you want a bit of heat, stir in the chili flakes.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning (more honey for sweetness, or vinegar for acidity).
- Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
Tips:
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- Use it to dress green salads, noodle dishes, or as a marinade for chicken, fish, or tofu.
Enjoy your flavorful Asian-inspired dish!
