10-Minute Chicken, Corn and Kimchi Ramen
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of instant ramen noodles
- 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
- ½ cup canned corn (drained)
- ¼ cup kimchi (chopped)
- 2 cups chicken broth or water
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1 green onion (sliced)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Chili flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions:
- Boil the broth: In a medium pot, bring the chicken broth (or water) to a boil.
- Cook the ramen: Add the instant ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions, usually 3-4 minutes.
- Add flavorings: Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil for extra flavor.
- Add chicken and corn: Toss in the cooked chicken and corn to heat through.
- Add kimchi: Stir in the kimchi for that tangy, spicy kick.
- Optional egg: Crack an egg directly into the soup and let it poach for a few minutes, or boil it separately and slice it for garnish.
- Serve: Ladle the ramen into bowls, top with green onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes if desired.
