10-Minute Chicken, Corn and Kimchi Ramen

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of instant ramen noodles
  • 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • ½ cup canned corn (drained)
  • ¼ cup kimchi (chopped)
  • 2 cups chicken broth or water
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • 1 green onion (sliced)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Chili flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions:

  1. Boil the broth: In a medium pot, bring the chicken broth (or water) to a boil.
  2. Cook the ramen: Add the instant ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions, usually 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add flavorings: Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil for extra flavor.
  4. Add chicken and corn: Toss in the cooked chicken and corn to heat through.
  5. Add kimchi: Stir in the kimchi for that tangy, spicy kick.
  6. Optional egg: Crack an egg directly into the soup and let it poach for a few minutes, or boil it separately and slice it for garnish.
  7. Serve: Ladle the ramen into bowls, top with green onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes if desired.

Enjoy your quick and flavorful ramen!
