How to cook 15-Minute Broiled Salmon and Broccoli

Here's a quick and easy recipe to cook grilled salmon and broccoli in 15 minutes:



Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (approximately 150-200g each)
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 clove of minced garlic (optional)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Fresh or dried herbs to taste (such as dill, thyme or parsley)

Instructions:

For the Salmon:

  1. Prepare the Salmon:

    • Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper and a little lemon juice.
  2. Grilling Salmon:

    • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin side down (if applicable).
    • Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon is cooked halfway through.
    • Turn the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through. The time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.

For the Broccoli:

  1. Prepare the Broccoli:

    • Wash and cut the broccoli into florets.
  2. Cooking Broccoli:

    • In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
    • Add the broccoli florets, season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir to coat well.
